USL LEAGUE TWO: Oakland County FC hands Union FC Macomb first loss

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – Oakland County FC opened up the 2025 season Saturday with a resounding 3-0 victory over previously-unbeaten Union FC Macomb.

Three different players scored goals for Oakland County (1-0-0) in a Great Lakes Division game played at Royal Oak High School.

Jacob Huth staked OCFC to a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 39th minute, as the hosts led by a goal at the break.
 

Braden Stevanovic added an insurance tally in the 49th minute for the 2-0 cushion, while Michael Melaragni capped the scoring with a tally in the 68th.

 
Robert Gelaj notched the shutout on eight saves for Oakland County.
It was third third game of the young season for Union FC Macomb, which fell to 2-1-0 overall and in divisional play. Union has scored four goals and conceded four goals this season.
