UNOH Captures First WHAC Regular Season Title Since 2019

LIMA, Ohio – For the first time since 2019, the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) has returned to the top of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). The Racers secured the 2025 WHAC Women’s Soccer regular season title after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Lawrence Tech on the final day of the regular season.

The win capped off a dominant 10–1–0 conference campaign for the Racers, marking their seventh WHAC title all-time and their first since an impressive six-year championship run from 2014–2019.

Under head coach [insert coach name if known], UNOH has reestablished itself as one of the premier programs in the WHAC. The Racers’ consistency and depth across the pitch fueled their climb back to the top, edging out Lourdes University (9–1–1) by just two points in the standings.

With the title, UNOH earns the No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2025 WHAC Women’s Soccer Tournament, set to begin Saturday, November 1 at host sites throughout the conference. The Racers also clinch home-field advantage throughout the tournament and the first of two automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

Official tournament matchups and kickoff times will be released Sunday afternoon.
