Los Angeles Force, Capo FC Advance to NISA Pro Cup Final With Convincing Semifinal Wins

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Oct. 19, 2025) — Experience carried the day in the semifinal round of the 2025 NISA Pro Cup, as both winners turned slim leads into convincing victories to book their spots in the championship match.

Once ahead 1-0, both clubs pressed for a second goal rather than sitting back, putting on a tactical and technical clinic in front of a packed crowd.

Los Angeles Force 2, Northern Colorado Hailstorm 0

Controlling possession is one thing. Converting chances is another.

Enzo Mauriz earned and buried a penalty early in the second half, and Joe Montes de Oca added an insurance goal as Los Angeles Force (3-1-0) — winners of Group A — secured a 2-0 victory over Northern Colorado Hailstorm (2-1-1).

The Hailstorm were limited to just one shot on goal and couldn’t keep pace with L.A. Force’s crisp ball movement and sharp second-half substitutions.

Capo FC 2, Peak XI FC 0

Capo FC’s mastery on set pieces was once again the difference.

Julian Svoboda scored his fourth goal of the tournament from a dead ball situation, curling home a free kick to put Capo FC (3-1-0) ahead in the first half. Dakota Hatzenbeller sealed the result in the final minutes with a late strike.

Peak XI FC (1-1-2) — the Cinderella story of the tournament — saw its run end the same way it began, with a 2-0 loss.

Final Set

The stage is set for the 2025 NISA Pro Cup Final.

Los Angeles Force and Capo FC will square off Tuesday in Washington Township, Mich., for the championship. LA Force showed their pedigree with a disciplined semifinal win, while Capo FC continued their red-hot form to knock out Peak XI FC.

Two teams. One trophy.

Final: Tuesday
Washington Township, Mich.
